Our GenderBender Tape is made from very soft 98% nylon and 2% spandex with a hypoallergenic medical grade acrylic adhesive that is latex free and non-medicated. It will stay on while swimming or showering and can last up to 7 days! It is ok to take off after wearing for only a short period, though it will be more difficult, and we recommend it only be reaplied 1-2 times per week to prevent irritating the skin from constant removal. Can be used for binding, tucking, or packing/holding an STP.

Roll is 7.5-15cm wide x 5m long and lasts around 1-2 months with frequent use.

Please test on skin twice for 24-48 hours before use in sensitive areas, in case of unexpected skin reaction, or order our skin test strip kit before purchasing a roll.

Apply to clean dry skin. Tape may take up to 30 minutes to set on the skin, which means it can be easily removed or adjusted if initial placement is not satisfactory. For best binding results, see the instructions in the last image of the listing or go to our How To Bind With Tape page. DO NOT WRAP AROUND THE ENTIRE CHEST OR RIBCAGE. You may wear a binder over it to help it set in the ideal shape, as the tape can be safely worn with a binder without constricting the ribs more than the binder would on its own.

While this tape can be removed by most simply by soaking in warm water, for those with sensitive skin it is best to remove with natural oils like almond, grapeseed, coconut, olive or even canola or corn oil (we suggest avoiding petroleum products like baby oil if you do not want to risk increasing estogen levels). Slowly peel away in same direction as applied and avoid going against the grain of your body hair. When used on chests, we recommend wearing for 3-5 days so that the adhesive can weaken before removal. Tape is easiest to peel off with minimal residue after working out or sweating! To avoid additional pain during removal, apply a cotton round or our nip covers over nipples, or cotton squares/tissue for tucking before putting tape on.

Contact us for help if our diagram & description is not clear enough. We plan on making tutorial videos once we can, but until then consider looking at guides on YouTube.

Discrete packaging

Now offering a mixed carton of 72 rolls for small organizations who can not afford our wholesale minimum of 216 rolls. Default color mix is 54 beige, 18 black; other ratios can be requested in "note to shop" at checkout.

Safety

This body tape is perfectly safe for binding as long as it is not wrapped around the entire ribcage - see instructions here. Taping can be better than a traditional binder as it does not restrict, constrict or compress your body or organs at all. Taping allows for full range of motion, mobility and breathing. It is more discreet than binding as it does not cover the back, chest or shoulders (as seen here) and is not typically visible under your garments. The wave pattern of the adhesive provides a strong bond that is breathable and less irritating than full coverage adhesive. This tape we have developed is MUCH softer and more comfortable than other binding tapes sold on the market, because it is made with fine nylon rather than rough cotton or polyester, and only has 10-15% stretch as compared to the 35% stretch in TransapeTM which can lead to painful blistering, scarring and skin irritation. For best results on chest, after applying to the inner breast, use one hand to flatten the tissue into the desired shape while rolling the remaining tape onto your side without stretching it. To avoid additional pain during removal, apply our nip covers or cotton squares for tucking before putting tape on.

We also offer a zero stretch option for drag that acheives a very flat bind, but the adhesive is super strong so we only recommend it for performers & short term use!

We offer small samples to try if you are concerned about skin reactions, for those who have had trouble with body tapes in the past. We use medical grade acrylic adhesive, so allergy is uncommon, but discomfort is still possible for those with very sensitive skin. Please test 2 strips for 24 hours each before use in sensitive areas to confirm you won't have an allergic reaction. The sample strip will not be large enough to use for binding. We want people to buy a whole roll for that attempt, because it takes time to perfect individual application technique, so we don't want people to think that it doesn't work for them after trying only once.

Not great color diversity

I really like the feeling of this tape (out of all the different tapes I've used I like this formula and adhesive the most), but I really wish there were more skin color tones for people with darker skin.

Bought for my teen who tried-3 different brands of cloth binders- which even with correct sizing- it still was uncomfortable after a school day- side note: they their chest size is small- so not an “anatomy “issue.
Tried other binding tapes and reacted to the adhesive. This is the first tape which they are able to wear longer and with comfort. It is definitely for sensitive skin. We will be purchasing again! Thank you GB for bringing it to the table!

To be honest this is the BEST tape I’ve ever bought. I’m so glad I found this brand. It’s so gentle on my skin when I take it off, so comfortable and I don’t need to use any “oils” to take it off. No more tears due to skin tearing or blisters. THANK YOU!! P.s. Can’t wait to see other skin tone like colors and designs on it someday😄😍🥰

Probably great if you don't sweat, ever

I was excited to order this at first, thinking it would help eliminate my woes of sweaty binders. I sweat a *lot*, though, and that just doesn't seem to fly. As someone with large breasts and a lot of overhang, I was hoping for something that would hold. The edges started peeling as I was applying it to the other side. It didn't even get me flat- sure, it turned an F into a C, but looking in the mirror just hurt. At least the adhesive didn't hurt when taking off.

Hi - Thank you for your feedback!

While sweat can reduce the strength of the adhesive over time, and the skin does need to be dry when the tape is applied for it to set, you might not have kept it on long enough for it to fully set and see its actual strength. Once set, the tape should stay on for 3-5 days. Here's a snippet from our detailed taping guide here for you, which I will also provide a link to below:
