This soft binder is handmade in Los Angeles using a high-compression material with a moisture management treatment and UV50+. It was very carefully designed to have strong seams, clean finishes, and no rough areas or tags to scratch or irritate the skin. The two layers of fabric in the front work to compress and softly flatten the chest without making it hard to breathe.

Short for "versatile," our Vers version will be great for all sorts of activities! Vers has slightly lower elasticity than the Original, so it offers good compression/flatness while also weighing less. It however is not very plush, so it isn't quite as soft, but weighing less does give it plenty of advantages! The lighter weight makes it more breathable and faster drying, so it should be fantastic for swim, exercise, and sweaty days while offering a flatter bind than our Active Top or other Lightweight compression tops. The Vers fabric also has a moisture-wicking finish and built-in UV50+ protection from the sun!

Fit
Please see our official size chart using the button above to confirm your sizing. There is also a chart based on bra sizes in the last photo, but this may not be as accurate as using your confirmed individual measurements.
The short length of these half binders is nice for keeping cool and comfortable without restricting the waist or rolling up near the bottom. While they are long enough to provide chest coverage for most people, every body is unique, so items in "like new" condition can be exchanged for longer styles if you find the Half Binder does not fit your particular body type! On the other hand, if you would like yours hemmed to be shorter, click here to add that service to your cart.
If interested in a lightweight compression top with a higher neckline and smaller armholes than this style, we recommend the Active Top.
We also offer zippered styles like the Half-Length Zip Binder and 3/4 Length Zip Compression Top for those who are looking for easier dressing and undressing, as well as a quick release from compression whenever needed!
FOR THOSE BETWEEN SIZES:
If you have broad shoulders/chest (so most of that measurement is ribcage, not breast tissue), or get claustrophobic/anxiety or back pain from binding, I'd recommend the larger size. If you have a small frame and larger cup size or very soft tissue, the smaller size will likely work much better! If you still aren't sure, go with the smaller one and we can exchange for a different size if needed. Free exchanges are available within the US but may be slow, and international exchanges are subject to shipping costs, so please pick carefully! For international customers, it may be a better idea to get the larger size and have it tailored locally if it is too large, because this often costs less and is quicker than shipping an exchange.

Our soft binders offer comfortable compression designed to avoid pain, difficulty breathing, chafing, sensory issues, and binder-related anxiety in addition to using fabric treated with antimicrobial and wicking finishes. While the original-level compression soft binders are still good binders for most of our customers, those with firm chest tissue may find that with the extra stretch these may not flatten as much as more rigid styles. The lightweight and flex version with more stretch will likely offer a less flattening bind and are better for low compression or overall chest compression.
