This compression bandeau is handmade in Los Angeles with a 70% nylon, 30% spandex compression knit with antimicrobial and moisture management treatments. It was very carefully designed to have strong seams, clean finishes, and no rough areas or tags to scratch or irritate the skin. The two layers of fabric in the front work to compress the chest without making it hard to breathe, while the silicone grip logo elastic keeps it from slipping down the chest to an unsafe or uncomfortable angle.
DO NOT USE IF ALLERGIC TO SILICONE
We find that pulling it up over the hips, holding the elastic inside-out helps a lot with getting it on!
NOT FOR POST-OP USE
Not all brands use the same sizing so please use our chart and read the below notes:
- This style typically works much better for people with larger cup sizes, since those with smaller cup sizes would mainly be squeezing their ribcage rather than chest tissue.
- If you have a cup size of "C" or below, or are otherwise concerned about constriction of the ribcage, please order a SIZE UP!
- If using simply as a bandeau and not wanting much flattening effect, please order 1 size up in the "lightweight" version or 2-3 sizes up.
- If you don't have a D+ cup size or chronic shoulder/neck pain, we recommend binders with straps for the comfort and a more "masculine" shape.
- Our tape is also a great "strapless" alternative!
Lightweight Explanation:
We were having trouble getting enough fabric from our local supplier due to the pandemic, and we wanted to offer more colors, so we ordered some fabric from another supplier. In addition to the color coming out slightly different than expected, this fabric was also a bit lighter weight and stretchier than our primary fabric, more like the swim fabric we use for the Active Top and Tucking Bikini. Since this does affect the fit and feel of the item, we have decided to label items made with this fabric as "Lightweight." These may feel looser, especially in larger sizes, due to the stretch, so we recommend sizing down to account for this if purchasing the lightweight version. The upside is that the lightweight binders are more swim and exercise-safe than our typical binders, though we don't recommend swimming in the white color, especially not in a chlorinated pool. The lighter-weight fabric will be more breathable, but is also thinner. They are a great option for anyone who is looking for compression similar to that of the Active Top, but want one without straps.

This style can be a bit difficult to get into, so please do not order it for post-op use. Here's a tip for getting it on: Unless you have wide hips, we recommend pulling it up over them, holding the grip elastic inside-out and away from the body to prevent the silicone from "sticking" to your skin until you have it placed properly. There is no adhesive, just the silicone grip:
Our soft binders offer more comfortable compression designed to prevent back pain, difficulty breathing, chafing, sensory issues, and binder-related anxiety in addition to using fabric treated with antimicrobial and wicking finishes. Styles like this one called compression tops in their titles - though they use the same fabric as our soft binders - probably won't get the wearer entirely flat due to the shape or body type they are designed for, so please keep realistic expectations.
