Our compression wraps are perfect for wearing after top surgery to keep swelling down without needing to lift your arms. Can also be used for hysterectomy and other torso post-op compression needs, or simply for waist training.

These soft bands of high quality elastic are premade in sizes XS-4X. We can custom-make larger sizes with the purchase of 2 bands to splice cleanly in the back, as seen in the "fit" tab above. Sizes listed are the actual length of the band, so please select one that is longer than the upper chest measurement. There's really no risk with going for a larger size than you think you need, as it offers plenty of surface for the special no-scratch velcro to hook anywhere on the outer layer of the band and secure your bind firmly! NEVER SIZE DOWN

Offers semi-rigid compression ideal for the first 1-3 weeks after surgery (or as recommended by your surgeon). Our softer Zip Binder (available in XXS-6X) is a very comfortable post-op option, as long as the patient's range of movement allows for safely getting arms through the armholes. If also purchasing a Zip Binder for post-op use, please only use your upper chest measurement for sizing. For those going fully flat, we recommend going 1 size down or 2 sizes in the stretchier "lightweight" version. For those getting a radical reduction, we recommend getting the size listed in the chart for your upper chest measurement, or 1 size down in the "lightweight" version.

The Post-Op Wrap's black color prevents staining, but it can be bleached for decontamination. Machine wash and dry it with the rest of your synthetic garments on low heat, or alone on delicate.

Though customers have left good reviews using this compression wrap as a strapless binder, we are obligated to let you know that binders with velcro closures may bind unevenly, so please be safe and close these in the center front, for any kind of use.

Do not use if allergic to nylon, cotton, terylene polyester, or rubber elastane.

Fit

For post-op use, please base your purchase on the circumference around the upper chest just under the arms and above the bust. Though customers have left good reviews using this compression wrap as a strapless binder, we are obligated to let you know that binders with velcro closures may bind unevenly, so please be safe and close these in the center front, for any kind of use.

Sizes listed below are the actual length of the band, so please select one that is at least 5cm/2in longer than the chest measurement. If getting a radical reduction/no going flat, please get at least 1 size larger. There's really no risk with going for a larger size than you think you need, as the wrap offers plenty of surface area for the special no-scratch velcro to hook anywhere on the outer layer of the band and secure your bind firmly! NEVER SIZE DOWN

These soft bands of high quality elastic now come in 8 premade sizes:

XS - 70cm

S - 80cm

M - 90cm

L - 100cm

XL - 110cm

2X - 130cm

3X - 150cm

4X - 170cm

2 of these can be purchased and spliced to create custom plus sizes, but please remember to leave a note at checkout requesting they be combined to your size:

5X - 2 "L" (100cm bands spliced) to create a wrap approximately 190cm long

6X - 2 "XL" (110cm bands spliced) to create a wrap approximately 210cm long

Our original stock (sizes XS-XL) is 16cm wide and the new stock (up to size 4X) is 18cm wide, to keep you as comfortable as possible. We find that wider wraps tend to bite into the armpits and/or waist more. We also believe it is best to avoid compression around the digestive tract when possible.

Perfect for top surgery

[my surgery was a keyhole incision double mastectomy]
I was recommended by my surgeon to get this for my surgery, and I am so glad I did. They did end up providing me with a [front] velcro binder but, without the initial foam pads they inserted [which of course got dirty over a few days], it didn't compress at all on its own.
To help with inflammation and the blood drains, I switched to this compression wrap and it did the job perfectly WITHOUT the discomfort under my armpits that I experienced with the binder the hospital gave me! Its simple, easy to put on and adjust throughout the day, even with limited movements [you will need help with getting it wrapped around your torso during your first few weeks of recovery].
Its been over a month since my surgery and I'm actually still using it because I didn't realize how much normal clothes would feel so uncomfortable on my skin after 4 weeks of wearing big loose tops. So I've been wearing it without tightness just to protect my still numb & healing nerves around the wounds.

10/10 if you need a post-op binder, this is the go-to!! I also really appreciated the nice "congrats!!" note on my package receipt x]

Terrible allergic reaction from the binder. I reached out to the owner for resolution and got no response …

Hi - I'm so sorry to hear that!

We have not received any emails from you, so our email address may have been entered incorrectly. We have now sent you an email asking for details about your allergies and the reaction you experienced. Again, I am very sorry to hear you experienced some sort of reaction with the post-op wrap. We were not aware of anyone experiencing this with the product. Unlike our locally-made binders, our post-op wraps are made in a hypoallergenic factory that specializes in medical-grade compression garments, so we'll need more information to figure out what might have caused the reaction. These elastic wraps contain polyester, nylon, and elastane.

Thank you,
Xander

Most comfortable post op compression method I found. I highly recommend this to others. I based my measurements off the compression binder they sent me home with after surgery and ordered this one, because the one from the hospital kept rolling up on my stomach.

Comfortable and great post op compression

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable post op compression binding method. I was a big chested guy (DDD) and I’m also not the tiniest guy and in own my personal experience this bonded me the best and gave me the most compression. They did send me home with a tank like compression binder thingy that zipped and buckled in the front but it kept riding and folding up on my belly as I was also bloated bad from my hysterectomy. They tried the ace wrap method as well but it got to the point when it stretched out it would roll or became loose. I wish I would’ve ordered this sooner. Please don’t waste your time shopping around this is the BEST product I’ve found!

If your surgeon left you with a single sorry excuse for a compression vest/wrap (like mine did) - do yourself a favor and get this one. It sizes down through the swelling and is a fun lil way to track your progress.
